This Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) governs all cancellations of rides, deliveries, or other services booked through Cryptodelivers (the “Service”). By using our Service, you agree to this Policy.
1. General Principles
* Cancellations by Users: Users may cancel a ride or delivery at any time prior to fulfillment, subject to potential fees.
* Cancellations by Drivers/Delivery Partners: Drivers/delivery partners may cancel under certain circumstances, without penalty, as long as they comply with Service policies.
* Cancellation Fees: Fees may apply to compensate drivers/delivery partners for time, effort, or service preparation.
2. User Cancellation Policy
2.1 Ride Services
* Free Cancellation Window: Users may cancel a ride within [X minutes] of booking without penalty.
* Late Cancellation Fee: If a user cancels after the free cancellation window but before the driver arrives, a fee may be charged to compensate the driver.
* Cancellation After Driver Arrival: If the driver has arrived at the pickup location, full fare or a significant cancellation fee may apply.
2.2 Delivery Services
* Free Cancellation Window: Users may cancel a delivery order within [X minutes] of confirmation without penalty.
* Late Cancellation Fee: If cancellation occurs after the order has been prepared or picked up, a cancellation fee may apply to cover food/goods preparation and driver effort.
* Non-Cancellable Orders: Once the delivery is en route, cancellation is generally not permitted. Exceptions may be granted at our discretion.
3. Driver/Delivery Partner Cancellation Policy
3.1 Ride Services
* Drivers may cancel a ride before arriving at the pickup location without penalty.
* Drivers should communicate with the user if a cancellation occurs due to unforeseen circumstances.
* Repeated cancellations without valid reason may result in temporary suspension or review of driver status.
3.2 Delivery Services
* Drivers/delivery partners may cancel if the order is unsafe, the location is inaccessible, or other valid reasons exist.
* The Service may reassign the order automatically to another available driver/delivery partner.
* Excessive cancellations by a driver/delivery partner may result in penalties, suspension, or account review.
4. Cancellation Fees
* Determination of Fees: Fees are calculated based on distance traveled, time elapsed, order preparation, and Service policies.
* Fee Payment: Fees are automatically charged to the payment method associated with the user account.
* Refund of Cancellation Fees: In rare cases where a cancellation fee is incorrectly applied, users may request a refund following the Refund Policy.

Color Key
* 🟢 Green – Free / Full Refund: No charges, user is fully refunded.
* 🟡 Yellow – Partial Fee / Partial Refund: Small fee applies, refund may be partial.
* 🔴 Red – High Fee / Non-Refundable: Full fee applies, no refund, or minimal refund depending on circumstances.
5. Special Circumstances
* Force Majeure: Cancellations due to events outside the control of users or drivers/delivery partners (e.g., natural disasters, traffic incidents, strikes) may result in fee waivers.
* Technical Errors: If the Service causes an incorrect trip or order assignment, cancellation fees may be waived.
* Safety Concerns: Users may cancel immediately without penalty if they feel unsafe. Drivers may cancel if the pickup/delivery location poses a safety risk.
6. Process for Cancelling a Ride or Delivery
1. Open the Cryptodelivers app.
2. Select the ride or order you wish to cancel.
3. Click Cancel and follow prompts.
4. You may be informed of any applicable cancellation fee prior to confirmation.
5. Fees (if any) will be charged automatically, and confirmation of cancellation will be sent via the app.
7. Refunds for Cancellations
* Refunds for cancellation fees or pre-paid amounts are handled according to the Refund Policy.
* If a driver or delivery partner cancels, the user may be eligible for a full refund or credit, depending on the situation.
* Requests for refunds must be submitted within 7 days of the cancellation.
8. Limitation of Liability
* Cryptodelivers is not liable for costs or losses arising from cancellations beyond the standard fees outlined in this Policy.
* Users are responsible for reviewing cancellation terms prior to booking rides or deliveries.
* Drivers and delivery partners are independent contractors; Cryptodelivers does not guarantee their availability or compliance with the cancellation schedule beyond reasonable expectations.
9. Policy Modifications
* We may update this Policy at any time to reflect operational, legal, or market changes.
* Users will be notified of material changes via the app or email.
* Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
